Just subscribed, enjoyed the vid. I don’t believe golf lessons are worth it anymore as I don’t have the energy and time to practice what is taught. I got good ability and know my main issue which is concentration. A little concentration on set up from driver to wood to iron is what’s needed and commitment to shot and choice of club I make

I'm a 6.5 index and can't hit a flush iron to save my life. So annoying this game.

Learning new golf technique is really hard and I don't think it suits the 1 hour lesson model.
Last time I had a lesson I was struggling with a push. Within 5 minutes I was hitting them straight.
I should have left then and practiced that 1 thing till it was a habit. Instead we went to work and 2 lessons later I literally didn't know how to even start a golf swing. It was horrendous.
I'd have been better having a 10 minute lesson 3 times over the following week than 1 hour long lesson.

The problem is the vast majority of golf coaches don't really care. Once they get your money, their effort drops. One example is how few coaches offer to video the lesson for the student. Students will only remember a tiny bit of what's taught during a lesson. Why not video it? Because they don't care. It's very easy to set up a tri pod and mic. Then email the unedited lesson. But they can't be bothered.
