Dude you're the answer to my prayers. You go in-depth for people that really want to understand and do their own research rather than just telling people what to buy. I've been searching for this information precisely since I don't know too much about audio setups.

You are truly great at your reviews. You should consider extending beyond just audio tech reviews. You're already running circles around all the other audio reviewers on YouTube.

Bought the LG SN11RG a couple of weeks ago and absolutely love it. The surrounds are amazing. The setup with the app was a bit of a hassle due to unclear directions, but once figured out it is smooth as silk.

That was super detailed, helpful, easy to understand and I love how you guide people at the end with simplifying your choices (I do that too in my reviews :) ) Thank you!!

Started out with a 2.1 Denon S-301 before ARC/eArc was a thing for my old Panasonic 58” Plasma TV. Finally upgraded to LG OLED TVs a few years ago and upgraded my sound system. Started with the Nakamichi 7.2.4 for the main LG OLED 77C1 and Sonos Beam+Gen 3 Sub+One SLs for office LG OLED 55C1 TV. I liked the Sonos so much and upgraded to Arc+dual Gen 3 Subs+ two Fives as rear surrounds for main LG OLED 77C1. Later added the Sonos Beam+Gen 3 sub+two symfonisk bookshelf as surrounds in master bedroom LG OLED 55C9.

You mentioned several points that none of the other 7 videos I have watched even mentioned.
I am considering the Sonos ARC but you raised an issue about it only supporting Dolby ATMOS and not DTS nor LPCM. (I am still unsure what is going to happen if I bought a SONOS ARC and then used my Samsung Q60T TV to watch Apple Plus streaming will I hear any sound.)
Great detail
Great presentation
Great bits of humour

Only 7k subscribers? Well that's almost criminal given the meatheads here that have millions of subs for lighting swimming pools on fire

I didn't even bother with a soundbar. A lot of the time you're paying for what you don't need. Unless you're going upmarket to actual 5.1, you could easily buy a $100 set of computer speakers which have a sub and would provide greatly improved stereo separation (provided you have a wide console) and sound stage, hook it up to your TV's headphone jack and use the TV's built-in surround sound trickery. Even better if the computer speakers are two-way, the tweeter will help sure up the phantom center. I had a budget TV and $50 computer speakers and thet did a great job. Recently got a better TV, so this time I'll just get an Arylic B50 amplifier (which has ARC) and some cheap speakers. Should cost around $300 altogether. Will beat any similarly priced soundbar.

Hi thanks for your help I’m buying my husband a sound bar for his 40th. I am learning a lot from your videos. Should I just buy a traditional home theater system instead of soundbar. I made it to the end of the video and last couple mins. Give me buyers remorse before I click the proceed to checkout button. I was going to go with the sonos arc. I learned very helpful tip from you if my husband has a ps4 with Digital plus he can get Dolby atmos action out of the soundbar even if his tv is only a arc. The PlayStation will create the earc…anywho should I just buy a home theater system? Only have 800 to spend …thank you
