Oh gosh, I hear ya- I've dropped my iPad mini on my face a couple of times and it hurts!! Also, yes to never having enough space for my books. Sometimes I think about how I'd organize my books if I ever got the library of my dreams!

I'd like to say at the outset that there are numerous benefits to reading. For fun & enjoyment, for information, for education, for edification, etc.
Having book(s) fall on you certainly is a hazard. So is carrying books, especially if they're heavy, and/or you have to lug them a long way. The future of book manufacture should be that they be made strong, durable, & ultralight, & have softer rounded corner edges instead of sharp 90 degree ones.
