I guess there's some sanity left in the courts!

Lawmakers and experts are just baffled at how a law designed to prevent white men from being hired could possibly be discriminatory 😂🤣

"Culture shift" - can she be any more vague? You can't just take random people off the street and put them into governance positions. If more minorities are to be represented in business leadership, they need to complete the education and rigors of the business world. Most urban kids aspire to make it big on Tik Tok, be a music star or athlete. Nobody wants to sit there studding for business administration in undergrad and getting your MBA while all your friends are partying in their teens and 20s. Magic Johnson and Ken Chenault made it to the top, anybody can - they just have to put in the sweat and not expect an easy ride. Admittedly those who are connected to those at the top often don't need to put in the work. How many strings did Aunt Nancy pull for silver spoon Gavin?

The only diversity you need is diversity of thought, different skin colors, hair colors, different genitals, ethnicity etc. don't mean anything if everyone thinks the same. I like how they still hide behind studies that they interpret wrongly, instead of what I just wrote. Not to mention that you go against meritocracy and you step into discrimination. At the end we all know it is not about helping anyone, it is just a political agenda to put certain people down, it's sad to see that the most advanced societies in the history of humanity goes backwards now.

You hire the best for the job. Not based on race or gender.

What does “cultural shift” suppose to mean?

A professor of law is calling for a "cultural shift" towards laws that mandate, and businesses that practice, hiring and appointing people on the basis of race, gender, and orientation. I wonder how she squares this philosophy with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964? Or is she advocating for such provisions to be struck down?

Expert is always a woman. But yeah, let’s pretend women aren’t already doing what this law is supposed to do.
