I liked this movie becuase they didn’t focus on the age difference. In the movie Ths Idea of You it seemed like that was a big focus but this love story seemed to happen without that angst about age . The only reference to the age difference was when “Katherine’ said I could fall for a kid like you and that was it. This movie doesn’t treat the age gap as taboo it’s just 2 people connecting and coming together cause they fit .

just watched it, pretty good overall. Laura Dern is attractive for her age. It was Laura who made it good, aside from looks, she had character and personality which all these tik tokers do not have. his younger gf had modern girl boss babe feminist vibes and of course she cheats, no surprise there.
women thinking of taken notes from this, it is possible. Laura took care of her health, had a great smile, great personality, great character and thats why its believable. She also treated him with respect, unlike the younger gf whose "me, me, me" then ditch him on a bad day. Old school women like that are humble and feminant, not the boss babe accusing of him of being threatened by her money, boring as hell character with sex as her personality, hallow.
Looks gets a guys attention, personality keeps their attention, character makes guys fall in love. In my opinion at least.
