A tour through Rhodes-Diagoras International Airport. It is Greece's 4th busiest airport, & is located on the island of Rhodes, which is one of Greece's largest islands, and the largest of the Dodecanese islands.
Overall there wasn't anything specifically unique or special about this airport, but it covers whatever basic needs one would have to fly in or out of the island.
As you go upstairs from the check-in area, you'll go through the one security checkpoint of the airport, then walk through the duty-free shop area before entering the gate area, where there are a few cafes & restaurants (even a Starbucks & a Burger King). Gates for flights destined for places outside the Schengen Area are behind the passport control area towards the back of the terminal.
