This is the full soundtrack for NBA Live 95 on the SEGA Genesis. It was recorded from a real SEGA Genesis model 1 for the best audio quality. It seems like a lot of these EA Sports games had pretty solid soundtracks.

Sport games were built different on the Genesis. This sounds great!

This has to be one of the best soundtracks on the Mega Drive and probably the best use of Kevin Pickell's sound driver, which has the least amount of clipping from the drum samples but the clipping is still there but far less noticeable, seriously Mega Drive sports games from EA had bangers for soundtracks.

Wow, this would be the most impressive soundtrack in terms of YM2612 DAC on Mega Drive, Electronic Arts had talented programmers like Kevin Pickell who is responsible for the sound driver of this game and several more, I have mentioned it in other videos, the MD is capable of reproducing good quality samples but it is not so easy to achieve for several reasons and Kevin Pickell managed to overcome those barriers with a reduced ROM space, definitely Kevin Pickell deserves more recognition.

This was a good year for NBA Live. Both versions had really good soundtracks. I think the SNES version edges it out just a hair, though. The next year though, the SNES version's OST would really outshine the Genesis.

Interesting, all the soundtrack seems to be pcm streamed samples with little or no FM synthesis used.

This is the "least" genesis soundtrack ever! Don't worry, sounding Genesis is good, but I mean, this sounds like something we'd hear on the Saturn or PSX!
