I have a desktop PC. I love it because I was able to custom build it and I can easily upgrade it as my needs change. Because I work from home and not remote I don't need a laptop. Right now, I am able to use 3 screens, have my webcam above my monitor and have my keyboard at a good position. I don't recommend a laptop unless someone needs the mobility.

Yes madam here in the Philippines no schools today because of the pandemic now I started to teach online for kids...I used desktop madam for tutoring.

I agree with start out with whatever you have whilst you get used to online tuition. I bought a windows i5 laptop many years ago for face to face tuition but hardly ever used it as students had their own laptop/mac we could use to access exam papers etc. When I started out online tutoring it finally got some use. I used it's inbuilt webcam and my mobile phone earphones and the cheap Huion Graphic Tablet. Over time I've bought an external C920 HD webcam, external blue yeti microphone and a Wacom Intuos graphic tablet usually on prime day. These have all improved my online tuition as well as helping with making videos. Good to see more online tools I can add to my collection.
