The supreme court justices getting appointed by political allegiance is a terrible system. State, church and law should be clearly separated in a democracy.

Trump didn't select the Justices on the Court. McConnell and the Federalist Society chose Gorsuch and Barrett, and Justice Kennedy agreed to retire if his chosen successor, Kavanaugh, was nominated.
