For a while now, I wonder if this bass originally was owned by Felix Pappalardi and maybe he gave it to Jack at some point? GREAT little clip - thank you - and I didn't know quite what he was playing this; what I always assumed was just a bit off. Jack was one of the reasons I picked a bass up and also why I still play today, seeing and hearing things that are 'new' to me, such as this. 😀

A pity that Cream never played this song live (as far as I know). It had that sublime, dreamy guitar solo in the middle that Clapton could have expanded.
