This talk was presented for students participating in the capstone course of the Natural Resources and Environmental Science Secondary (NRES) Major at Kansas State University and was open to the general public as part of the Natural Resources and Environmental Science Seminar Series.

NRES at K-State is supported by the Office of the Provost, College of Agriculture, College of Arts & Sciences, and Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering.

I agree that choices do have to be made, and I might add, compromises as well. Perhaps the greatest impact choices can make are with the consumer, who has been educated and guided to make more conscious decisions. We need to make sustainability easier to accomplish.
