Inspired by one of his videos, I asked Matt to build me a rig. And he did. He did. Turemetal DP2, ASRock Z390 Phantom ITX, Intel I9-9900K, 32 GB Corsair, 500 WD SSD. What can I say, this case looks even better “in person” and the build is flawless. Totally silent. Thank you Matt, this all looks and feels very very nice.

Would be so nice to have a case painted in thermal reactive paint, so you can see exactly where and when it is hot 👌

So glad to see the fanless revolution taking off. I got so tired of people stuffing a million fans and rgb lights into cases.

Never thought I'd see a Brutalist style HTPC.

They should make a 2U high 9.5" half-width rack version.

Awesome, CPU cooler has no fan but PSU has one!

Lots of screws... I remember that.
And you'll hate it if you ever need to get at the CPU, the mobo or god forbid, the M.2 underneath the mobo....
*REMEMBER THIS: * If you install a 65 Watt i7 or i5, make sure you force the chip to observe the 65 Watt TDP - by disabling turbo boost. It won't do it by itself.
If you never intend to move that box, its great for a recording studio.

I'm looking to build a computer using some of your products. The ultimate location for this computer will be on a marine vessel. The marine vessel will almost always have windows/ports open and thus salty/humid air will be flowing in the ship. I think a fanless case is in order. Can you recommend a case that best "seals" from the exterior environment? I know that it's impossible to make it water tight, but as close as we can get will do. The ship will likely be going through rough seas, so this PC will be mounted along a hard surface, but the internal components should be protected.

Here are the things I want inside:
1. most powerful CPU possible
2. most powerful GPU possible
3. standard connections such as HDMI, USB, USB-C, ethernet, etc
4. at least one slot to fit a Lime SDR PCIe card.
5. Minimum of 4 TB of storage
6. minimum of 8 GB of RAM

As far as use: I will be running this PC 24/7 as an onboard server (files, movies, gaming, etc), and processor for the lime SDR which will be responsible for things like radar, long distance communication, etc. Finally I want to be powered from a DC source (batteries which are charged via solar).

Any recommendations would be EXTREMELY grateful (especially links to your store if you have them)

If you used m.2 drives as opposed to 2.5" ssds, would the m.2s get too hot since the case is fanless or would they be ok?

Hmm what is the network cards type please? Looks like a very decent choice for audio purposes.

I bought a fanless PC from aliexpress. I use it as my daily machine due to its silience.

Why were the heat pipes not screwed to both sides of the housing? Seems to be better.

I like you channel a lot. What hardware and PC case do you use personally?

@fullysilentpcs Since you make pre-built silent PCs i would like to ask:
Have you ever tried connecting something like a GTX 1650 on to the PSU cooling side of a HDPlex H3 case using a 'HDPLEX Passive GPU Heatsink System' after first switching to one of HDPLEX's GaN Passive AIO ATX PSUs to make room?

I know that the cooling system is made for a H5 and that combo doesn't seem to be officially supported, but the way it's designed it looks like it could fit in H3 case too, but not sure so looking to confirm.

Hi I don't understand it. I am unable to align the PSU to the top of the side panel.
Have watched the part where you mount it a gazillion times but I am still stucked
