basically, it's effect of double rolling accuracy was implemented in the code 'incorrectly'(some claim this is actually false and it was working as intended.) In a nutshell, let's say you stabbed bandos, his dice would roll between 1-30, 000 for his def and 1-30, 000 for your attack. whoever got higher role would either block or hit. the change is that the double reroll did the reroll on both your attack roll, AND the defence, rather than just rerolling your attack. for example, if bandos rolled a 26, 000 for his defence and you rolled a 14, 600 for your attack, you would lose meaning you'd hit a 0, but the effect kicks in rerolling your attack again... lets say you rolled a 18, 300. than you would still hit a zero. HOWEVER, the way it was before the nerf, using the same numbers, bandos 26, 000 and you 14, 600... it would reroll both, you rolled 18, 300 but it forced bandos to also reroll, and this time he rerolled a 13, 000 meaning you hit him. this is a clear way to see how using the same numbers resulted in two different outcomes

Just did bandos for the first time few weeks ago and got tassets drop from steelwill. Everyone in the cc was going nuts and I didn’t realize how rare that was until I looked up the drop rate. Also rip pre-nerf fang, it was fun while it lasted.

I think I did my own 10 hours or of sara gwd recently. Went for 200 kills on my log, actually stopped at 260. Got a shard from a minion and that kinda killed the drive a little bit, lol.

The specifics of the fang nerf are kinda obscure. So for a standard accuracy roll, your attack is rolled, the opponents defence is rolled, if attack is higher than defence, its a hit.

For the pre-nerfed fang having two accuracy rolls, it would roll attack, roll defence, if that was a miss, it would re-roll attack, and ALSO re-roll the monster's defence.
Post nerf, the monster's defence is no longer re-rolled, only a second attack roll compared to the same original defence roll.

The reason this is significant is for high defence monsters, if they got a high defence roll, it could re-roll to something more average and more likely to hit. Now, if the first roll is a high defence roll, you're basically given two chances to beat that high defence roll. The numbers get complicated, but overall its about a 15% nerf roughly.
