Honestly imma go ahead and say Aquaman was movie of the year for me.. Infinity war was great.. But I was just amazed by aquaman.. The visuals the acting.. The serious moments.. The funny parts.. The action it was all so amazing imo.

The Aquaman movie was perfect. If Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Avatar had a movie, it would be this movie. The CGI was top notch. The final battle was AMAZING. I had goosebumps.

Aquaman had more drama than Black Panther, which was good for character development. Kilmonger was a great villain but Black Manta was an awesome villain

Overall, Aquaman and Black Panther are great movies. Don’t say Aquaman copied Black Panther, the story of the hero loses in the 1st round against the villain, then wins in the 2nd is very cliche. Heck even The Dark Knight Rises did it as well. Batman lost to Bane then goes to a “soul searching”, fights Bane again, wins. I can go on and on about this cliche.

It’s funny seeing people all excited for the Aquaman movie now that it looks awesome and it’s almost out when I was one of the people who liked Aquaman when he was still a laughing stock and was dying for the day he’d get his own movie!

I finished watching this movie right now and it had elements of Thor for sure and Black Panther mixed in perfectly. Also the Lord of the Rings, Justice League animated series Easter eggs were nicely added into this film. The technological advances in Atlantis was very similar to Thor, Thor the Dark World and the journey of the hero paralleled Thor in a way.
