How To Check Your Age On TikTok

TikTok has lots of age requirements that limit you from messaging people or going live if the app thinks you're under 16. However, lots of people sign up for TikTok and select a random age not thinking about it. In that case, I'll show you how to check or view your age on TikTok to see how old the app thinks you are.

If the app thinks you're an incorrect age, you can always check out our videos on how to change your age so that it is accurate and correct. Keep in mind, that in order to check your TikTok age you will have to request all of your data and once you get the data file it's best to view it on a computer so send the file over to a computer before opening!

Either updates have changed the relevancy or it’s different on iPad/iPhone
1. Tap profile (bottom right)
2. Tap 3 horizontal lines (top right)
3. Tap settings and privacy
4. Tap manage account
5. Scroll down to date of birth (#3).

Tiktok thought I was underage because my daughter appeared in some of my videos. I verified my age and a few months later I got taken off for age again and my kid wasn't even in the video. It banned me for a year from going live 😮
