Here it is. Finally. I know I've always said I'd never do it because it was already metal... but with Doom Eternal coming out very soon, I decided to finally just bite and give it a whirl, and there's no one better to back me up on the insane harmony runs as ToxicxEternity!

Part of the reason why I shy away from covering stuff like this is feeling like there isn't much to add, but I had the idea to have a super low Mick Gordon esque 8-string section. I wanted to hear how it would sound an octave lower with some cool synths on top. I'm by no means even well versed in playing with synths, but I had a good time playing with some that seemed fitting for this arrangement.

The song is so interesting too, because it's clear the riff was written with guitar pliability in mind, however the tappy sweepy leads absolutely make no sense on a fret board so those have always been insane to tackle. This will actually be the third time I've done this for this channel (Top 10 Level 1 Themes & Replay 2019) and this time I made sure to keep as close as I could to the original here. I also went for a much closer fretting of the main riff to capture a lot of the original song's dissonances this time around.

I would not be surprised if someone used this cover in a GZDoom mod that changes the music of the game. Kudos to you, sir!
