As far as the codes added for Mania plus i think they're a response to the stuff myself and others were doing editing the code for the game, since they probably didn't know people wanted Egg Reverie Super Sonic in all levels, Max Control, ect. but suddenly in plus they were added, interesting right? As far as Stealth's birthday and the Squirrels, it's because his OC is a Squirrel.

19:21 That is true. After viewing that good looking mockup picture of Desert Dazzle, the Stage Select screen appears and you get to play as Tails (in the original 2011 release only). In Origins, you can't play as Tails in this way. This applies to both Classic & Anniversary Modes.

According to the sonic 3 manual the marble garden act 1 boss is considered as a badnik, so i thought that could become a pinquinator too but it didn't, it would be really funny though

I’ve NEVER discovered these codes in the Sonic 1 & 2 mobile ports, so this was insane to find out!

I have to try Sonic 1 with 7 emeralds and the elemental shields now

Also here is a another thing in the sonic 1 debug if you go to marble zone with the debug you can select a weird sphere item and if you use it then the background will have the spheres rotating kinda weird but it was in the sonic 1 prototype so thats cool that they brought it back

About the debug mode on mobile activating the pause screen, if you're playing the free version with ads an ad plays every time you unpause the game, meaning that using debug mode on the free version triggers an ad every time you want to switch debug mode on or off since it pauses the game forcing you to unpause and trigger an ad. Even worse, it makes it so that the B button on a connected controller pauses the game too (even without debug mode on) which is really awkward, and also carries over to the PC decomp if you use an up to date apk to install it (which you're encouraged to since you're supposed to extract your own apk, but the creator of the decomp themself said that the only way to stop B from pausing the game is to use an older apk)

For some weird reason when setting items to + S3 it permanently removes roll lock during the run meaning you can use the dropdash like in origins CD, origins S3 & mania, this roll lock is even gone with a shield, but in S2 enabling S3 items does the same thing when you're purely base form sonic but when getting a shield roll lock is restored which doesn't happen in sonic 1 (unless the latest patch changed this)

fun fact about the speed caps: the toggles in Sonic 1 don't turn them on or off, but they fix a poor programming decision that instead of preventing Sonic from accelerating past a certain speed by undoing the acceleration if he's going faster than the top speed, it just sets his speed back to said top speed

this is also only done if the direction you're pressing on the dpad matches the direction Sonic is going, so if you don't touch the dpad, you'll be able to exceed that speed by going down a slope and keep it until you press the dpad in the direction you're going in, suddenly slowing you down in sonic 1, and only in the air in sonic 2 because the cap logic is separate for each direction and between air and ground, and they forgot to reprogram the air speed caps
