The St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is a Bulgarian Orthodox cathedral in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Built in Neo-Byzantine style, it serves as the cathedral church of the Patriarch of Bulgaria and it is one of the largest Eastern Orthodox cathedrals in the world, as well as one of Sofia's symbols and primary tourist attractions.The St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Sofia occupies an area of 3,170 square metres and can hold 10.000 people inside. It is the second-largest cathedral located on the Balkan Peninsula.

O Καθεδρικός Ναός της Σόφιας είναι Βουλγαρικός Ορθόδοξος καθεδρικός στη Σόφια, πρωτεύουσα της Βουλγαρίας. Χτισμένος σε Νεοβυζαντινό ρυθμό, είναι ο καθεδρικός ναός του Πατριάρχη της Βουλγαρίας και ένας από τους μεγαλύτερους Ορθόδοξους καθεδρικούς στον κόσμο, καθώς και ένα από τα σύμβολα και τα βασικά αξιοθέατα της Σόφιας. Ο Καθεδρικός του Αγίου Αλεξάνδρου Νιάβσκι καταλαμβάνει έκταση 3.170 τετρ. μέτρων και χωράει στο εσωτερικό του 10.000 ανθρώπους. Είναι ο δεύτερος μεγαλύτερος καθεδρικός στη Βαλκανική Χερσόνησο.
