LeBlanc is power hungry that's true. But she is no fool. She must be ahead of anyone in order for her to secure her place as the most powerful person. And for that she must know who she needs to take out first.

The list is
1. Mordekaiser. He is the most dangerous threat to everything she's built. In order for her to gain ultimate power over Noxus and the world she must eliminate the iron revenant first. But she need to do it in a way that requires her not to destroy Mordekaiser assets as Mordekaiser powers and arsenal are quite useful for her if she can manage to get her hands on them.

2. Swain and his co-conspirators. Swain is on the rise and he poses quite a threat to her reign. If left unchecked Swain might be able to overthrow her rules.

3. Outside threats such as Lissandra, the void and Demacia. If she underestimated Demacia and her alliance with Sylas has been exposed she might be in great trouble. After all Jarvan III's death wasn't orchestrated by the Trifarix. It was the scheme of the Black Rose in order to stir up Demacia internal conflict and weaken them. If the Crownguard learns of black rose scheme she might have to fight on two fronts.

Lissandra and LeBlanc might team up as Leblanc is aware of the watcher as well. But the arrogance of the ice witch might be the weakness of her.

And the void... It's inevitable world ending threat but resourceful as Leblanc is she will know how to stop or delay it.

This is why I like league lore, no one is truly a bad guy or a good guy. Just depending on the perspective you look at it from.

I was under the impression LeBlanc isn't a villain because she's saving Runeterra from Mordekaiser because she knows what he's capable of. Her and the Black Rose are morally grey... or maybe even closer to black (get it?) because she needs to secure all the power and weapons she can in order to deal with him once he ressurrects again. She's basically trying to save Runeterra. But "the road to Hell is paved with good intentions."

First off, Leblanc didn't serve Morderkaiser when he was still Sahn Uzal, she start serving him after the first ressurection.

Secondly, Atakhan is no where strong enough to beat Morderkaiser, remember Morderkaiser in his human form without any death power was enough to beat Atakhan and capture it.

Lastly, Leblanc is not power hungry person, she know what Morderkaiser is capable of and probably have plan to dispose those power once Morderkaiser truly gone.

She wants everything, to have everything, she needs this everything to exist and that's why she's worried about making this everything exist first so she can have it later. That's why she, and Vlad, the biggest hedonist in Runeterra, are so worried about protecting Runeterra.

She's not a good person, just like Vladimir. They're just not idiots and understand that there are threats of total annihilation that need to be dealt with first.

Idk why but Leblanc reminds me so much of Lissandra for some reason.
To those who don't know about Lissandra, she's basically holding The Watchers back in freljord by keeping them frozen so they don't fully emerge and destroy the League Verse. Yes! Not just Runeterra but the verse itself. Far bigger threat than Morde. Lissandra and Leblanc are tryna pevent the destruction of everything essentially.
