I admire your example; it is detailed and explains why significant figures are, well, significant.

2:24 In this context I'd argue even 4.64 mL is too precise. Just like you can't expect to be able to report measurements to 0.000 000 001 mL, how are you ensuring that the samples are divided equally to within 0.01 mL? What is your margin of error for the division process?

I would report 4.6 mL per sample here, respecting that my measurement and division process doesn't scale by significant figures, but rather by the equipment I have at hand.

I'm still confused, I learned that if I made a measurement which results in 0.00035, then the zeroes aren't significant figures, but the 0.000 are certain, so why aren't they significant then?

Isn't the final answer 5??
I just read that when dividing we should use the least number of significant and 7 is fact has only one significant figure
(I'm really confused and messed up🤦‍♂️)

So then what about when using sig figs are inaccurate? For example, 8.4 * 5 = 42, but to write it as a sig fig you have to write it as 40 according to my textbook, because 5 has only one sig fig so our answer can only have one as well.
