As a Bama fan I can tell you personally how the fan base feels. We’re hoping for a win but aren’t going to be disappointed with a loss. If we’re curb stomped that’s a different story though. We have to be competitive.
UGA on the other hand feels like all the pressure is on them. If they don’t win they’re still Bama’s lap dog (pun intended).

You look at what Stetson did in some big games in his career against Ohio State semi final game, Alabama in the National Title game, when they played Tennessee at the time was number 1 team in the country, Stetson showed up in those big moments to help them win those games. It seems to me that CKS keeps his play book limited early in the season. I also think he likes to create a struggle game early on that relies on his O-line. The playbook against KY seemed very limited and vanilla. I believe we'll see a different offense against Bama. Also, get ready to welcome back Mykel Williams.

I think these are mostly great points, but Bama has a YOUNG secondary. I believe we are starting 2 true freshman at CB right now. While UGA hasn't shown to have elite skill position players who can create explosive plays, I'm curious how they will look against a young inexperienced secondary. The game will be determined by how well our O-line can help them out and bridge the gap and if Beck can make the throws. Last year in the SEC game had 4 balls that were basically dropped interceptions and some missed throws.

Only question I have does Ala have enough st QB to win the game. Couldn’t help but notice against Mich, Saban scaled playbook down due to his limitations. Other than qb limitations ALA would’ve destroyed Mich. same concern I have for this game.

My longer take on UGA, Bobo the bozo and the last 5 games. I am a UGA fan.

How Conservative Playcalling and Bobo’s Return Doomed Georgia and will again.
Georgia’s defeat in the 2023 SEC Championship wasn't just about Alabama’s stellar play. Much of the blame must fall on Georgia’s Offensive Coordinator, Mike Bobo, whose conservative play-calling haunted the Bulldogs throughout the game. Despite having the offensive firepower to keep Alabama on their heels, Bobo's refusal to open up the playbook stifled Georgia’s momentum at crucial moments, particularly in the second quarter when they were held scoreless.

This isn't the first time Bobo’s play-calling has come under fire. Many fans were perplexed by Kirby Smart’s decision to bring Bobo back after Todd Monken left for the NFL. Bobo, however, returned with a reputation for playing it safe—a flaw that proved costly against Alabama.

Georgia’s conservative play-calling wasn’t just an issue in this game—it could cost them a chance at the national championship. If Alabama knocks Georgia from the top spot, the Bulldogs' path to the College Football Playoff is suddenly less certain. Even if they make the playoffs, teams like Tenn, Ohio State, or Texas are likely going to be watching tape of this game and seeing how Bobo’s lack of aggressive play-calling could be exploited.

What’s even more baffling is why Kirby Smart chose to bring Bobo back after his uninspiring first stint as OC. When Smart took over as head coach, he promised to bring Georgia to the forefront of college football. After back-to-back titles, they have done just that. But with Bobo, the offense has taken a step backward, and many fans are left wondering if this decision will be the Achilles heel that undoes all of Georgia’s hard-earned success.
