Fantastic song! It's become my favorite Bangles tune. Love Debbi's voice, and Micki's marvelous bass!

Really an unusual Bangles video. Usually, the cameras were mostly on Suzanna. Here, Debbi got the lead, and Mickey led the band on bass. So much talent, and, as an added bonus, they were such a good looking band.

Back before *Different Light" started its meteroic rise, LA's. "K-ROQ": DJ Rodney on the ROQ had the Bangles as live, in-studio guests a number of times...but this time a friend said: "Hey, the station's just in Pasadena, we should go and hang out, see if we could meet 'em." This was SoCal 1985, and things were loose enough that it could work.
There were about five others fans waiting for them to come out, and they smiled and signed graciously. Debi and I chatted about drums in general...70's cop shows in particular. It was only 20 minutes max...but it's a happy memory.

Wow! This is a greater version than the MTV version. Cool to actually see Debbie singing so much and Micki on the left side of the screen. Micki always had the greatest fashion taste of all of them. She looks great!
