Ever wondered who were the first 3000 believers to be filled with the fire of the Holy Spirit on Shavuot/Pentecost described in Acts chapter two? These 3000 Jews were the first believers in the early Messianic church.

Hebrews/Jews from many nations were attending the Feast. Who were these people and what did they believe? Which religious sect of the day did they identify with? Each religious sect followed a different religious calendar for the appointed feast days.

In part two of this ground breaking study, Dr. Miles Jones and research scholar, Eddie Chumney examine what was the belief system of the Pharisees of the first century.

Rare indeed is the host - guest attempt to disseminate information where the host doesn't spend the program interrupting and attempting to interrupt the guest.

Imo, the debate between oral vs written isn’t black & white. There’s certainly much to be gleaned from the written by knowing the oral; however, there’s some need to sift out some of the oral. Furthermore, the oral doesn’t and can’t possibly contain every meaning of the written. Although again, the oral tradition along with thorough knowledge of the written, prevents outright wrong interpretations of the sacred written. This is demonstrated by many Messianic believers of Torah wherein the talmud can be used to bolster our readings of Torah, yet Torah is king, not Talmud. Personally, I think the same holds true for the Epistles of the so called New Testament.
