Mercedes-Benz A Class turned 25 in 2022. After some initial problems, which were cured with ESP as standard, there was a boring second generation. But in 2012 Mercedes decided that the third generation A-Class should be aimed at the grandchildren of the brand's main target audience. That's when the dynamic and interesting looking W176 hatchback was launched. In 2018 it was followed up with the W177 model. The W177 Mercedes-Benz A Class has just underwent a facelift. That’s a lot of money for a car with very minor changes from the previous A Class. I agree I hate those touch sensitive buttons on the steering wheel.

Really really nice car. In fact you get the bigger dashboard screen as standard and ambient lighting now as standard. The interior in this car is the best hands down, really modern and I don’t think much else touches it.

Always remember, if are able to afford A or B class you ain’t living in poverty. I wish I could afford that or something cheaper. So be grateful for your life. 😊

I don't agree with the touchpad part.. Maybe it's just me but the screen is a bit far to reach. My arms aren't that long so it's hard to reach. I mostly use the trackpad on the steering wheel of my pre-facelift A class. I might be going to a facelift version but I'm not sure if missing the trackpad, the fewer options on the instruments cluster and lack of physical buttons on the steering wheel are an upgrade.

Great review thank you. I totally agree with you about the physical buttons on the stearing wheel being much better. To bad they dropped those. Does it come with a power lifted trunk door?

We're lucky enough to get this and the A35 in Canada. I thought about replacing my Golf with an A35, but Mercs are expensive to maintain.
