Chistmas? You lot haven't got the slightest idea about Christmas. What's the tactic? oh yes, make people panic buy in October with your christmas adverts, then before we even get into christmas eve you decide to strip any trace of christmas from your TV adverts and showcase yet another 1 off sale starting boxing day. Funny though isn't it with the sales falling drastically. One would wonder if a "happy christmas to all our DFS customers, sales start boxing day" advert would suffice, instead of a "We made our money on the buildup to christmas, but christmas is over now as we can't dispatch orders before christmas, so come and buy off us on boxing day". Unfortunately its the latter sort of marketing that consumers avoid.
