Free Time Creation: IKEA Kallax Hack - Hallway bench with storage (Adding pallet wood legs)

This hallway bench with storage was made with IKEA Kallax and some pallet wood as legs. The original Kallax was too low and there was a gap between wall and Kallax due to skirting around the wall.

Dumb idea. Totally destroys the idea of cheap easy-to-assemble furniture. If you have woodworking skills and access to some sophisticated woodworking tools, why would you build a quality platform with legs and then attach it to a disposable bookcase made from paperboard fibers? Kallax has its place. I have them in my home. But if I had your skills and tools...
