Police confiscate pet spider monkey from North Texas woman

A North Texas woman is trying to get her pet spider monkey "Jorgie Boy" out of a wildlife sanctuary after being taken by police after a crash.

It’s an endangered species, you can not own an endangered specie as a pet nor for your own financial gain. She didn’t have a clue how to correctly take care of this animal in any shape or form. So no she should not have him back!

They should have included in this short, that due to neglect, poor diet for it's whole life, lack of vitamins (some of which can be gotten through exposure to sunlight), this animal has brittle bones, and literal bones fractures all over it's body. Malformed facial structure and jaw function.

This woman should be charged for animal abuse cause the monkey was in terrible physical shape. She has no clue how to care for a primate. This was a very sad case and Texas authorities didn’t follow all the rules when confiscating this primate and had to return this primate to this woman. While the primate was in someone else’s care, that person took him to the vet and that’s when it was discovered how incredibly malnourished this animal was, the owner had been taking this animal to a bar and all different clubs, feeding it Kool-Aid in its bottle as you can see from one of the pictures here in this video. This woman is an idiot! And I hope they successfully take that monkey away permanently Next time. I don’t know how she got this animal back being she lives in an illegal area and that monkey was illegally brought into the states to begin with. all spider monkeys in the United States are here because they were poached and illegally smuggled over the border into United States from Central America.
