I've listened to Mozart's Requiem so many times with so many conductors and orchestras that I have it completely memorized. This performance of his lacrimosa is the most controlled, powerful, and beautiful I have ever heard. I believe this is how Mozart envisioned it to sound, to expand beyond the human soul to a depth few can grasp
