Today we present you Marta Siriova, participant in Volunteering 4 Strategic Development.
"My name is Marta Širiová, I am 30 years old, coming from Slovakia and this article should be related to my introduction. Last time I have read article that we usually introduce people and ourselves by job title based on which most of the people recognize us. But this leads to just job title and I would feel stuck and boring as I am working in financial area. Because of that let’s talk about more interesting things. I will tell you how my ideal day looks like. I wake up at 7:00, talk with my family, take shower and prepare breakfast. Then I take my bike and ride around 20 minutes to my work. Take the lift and on the way meet some friends. Take a place and start to work on projects, audit, be part of some meetings, provide education to people and help with various upcoming issues. Go for good lunch and afterwards take my own cup from work (as I want to save the environment) and go for coffee. Sit in the park and talk with friends about different topics but not work. Come back to job and finish the tasks. When I finish, I take my climbing equipment and go to mountains around my city or to the climbing hall. Enjoying the time and trying new things to climb more effectively or taking harder roads. Afterwards going with friends and sit next to the river and enjoy the view with stars over our heads. Come home and happily fall asleep.
What I was trying to say? I love my family, people, coffee, sport, climbing, nature, zero waste philosophy and challenges everywhere around me."
