Sen. Franken: I think Sessions perjured himself

Sen. Al. Franken tells CNN's Jake Tapper he thinks Attorney General Jeff Sessions committed perjury during his confirmation hearing.

Frankenstine told him there was reports of people from the Trump campaign as in workers and volunteers speaking or working with Russians, he said he was not aware of anyone from the Trump campaign speaking to Russians. It's was a question about the campaign not a question about his job.

Some commenters seem willing to twist themselves into knots trying to explain Sessions' lie under oath to Senator Franken.  Some explanations are dizzying.  I watched that hearing and it is crystal clear to me that Sessions lied--flat out--and should fired or Impeached.  Once when my daughter was three years old, she came running into the house from playing outside, all red-faced and happy and smiling ear-to-ear; then beamed a look up at me and sincerely claimed:  "I didn't put a frog in the mailbox!"  
It is my firm belief that Sessions put a frog in the mailbox!

Says Franken, who is not a lawyer.  Let's ask him for some medical advise and tax advice while we're at it.  Doesn't CNN remember that this guy was a comedian?
