Chelsea Passing Combinations - Warm-Up

0:00 - Phase 1
4:56 - Phase 2
9:00 - Phase 3

Phase 1 - Pass and follow pass into the middle, then receive the pass and play back to your own line

Phase 2 - Pass into the middle, middle player sets the pass and then the initial player plays a longer pass to the opposite side

Phase 3 - 1-2 on both sides

Excellent warm up. Those movements along with the give and go will help players begin to develop references.

great warmups.. conditioning players to be warmed up to switching entire field from left to right on the attack.. brilliant!!

How do they get the squares so exactley the same size? When ill do it for kids its like a drunk man put it there

Not a fan of the static stretches during warm-up. Been scientifically proven not to have a good effect on the muscle once you start loading it. Dynamic stretching is the way to go. Still seeing it a lot in different team warm-ups though.

I would say its close to 10 yards on each side and a 5x5 yd square
