A video that shows the former producer of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Andy Lassner, speaking to a group of employees about the potential toll that the cancellation of the show could take on some of the employees has gone viral.
In the video clip, Lassner can be seen standing in front of Stephen "tWitch" Boss, a former DJ for The Ellen Show who was discovered dead on Tuesday after having apparently committed himself.
Lassner stated that all of us are currently experiencing this "life transition" together.

"Because the people who work here are the only ones who have had this specific experience, it is appropriate to feel sad and to call out to one another for support.

"Stay close to each other, don't bury the grief inside of you, talk to someone, anyone," the counselor said.
In the midst of difficulties that arose during the run of the show as a result of claims leveled against DeGeneres by certain employees regarding a hostile working environment, Boss publicly supported his close buddy DeGeneres.

According to comments made by Boss to Us Weekly, "we can't speak too much legally about it," but "I'll say this, there's been, love." "Clearly there are certain issues that need to be addressed, but from my perspective, and from the perspectives of countless others, there has been love. I'm just going to leave it as that until there comes a time when we can discuss it more openly in front of others. Love has existed in the past, and it will continue to exist in the future.
