Changing navigation map orientation. North up or direction up. Also setting split map.

People sometimes prefer to have the direction they are headed up on their map, others want north up. Also I show you how to split screen the map on your Toyota.

I really appreciate this. I was beginning to think I was crazy. It changed somehow and I thought the compass had died. I figured it was now using the arrow for direction but I didn't like it. So glad to get it back.

Just picked up a 2023 RAV4 Prime XSE. I see the compass icon you are talking about. I switch it to "north" and it works fine until you switch from the nav screen to something else. Then it goes back to "direction you are heading" mode and I have to select "North" again. There's got to be a way to set "North" as the default but I can't find it.
