I was my first year of homeschool. Covid made a lasting mark and my mom decided my brother and I were too cool for private school 😎, but soon I was starting to get bored.

And then one day it all changed…

We were learning about planets ya see, and mom found a video about the Planet Uranus, THIS VIDEO, to make things more interesting.

And interesting things got! From then on Mr. DeMaio’s videos were part of our daily routine!

So thank you, Mr. DeMaio, for making our days, and staying awesome!

Dear Mr. DeMaio,
I'm a mom who wanted to send you a personal thank you note. Last month, my son (age 8) had to go to the emergency room and be hospitalized with acute respiratory failure from the flu. (I'm happy to say he has fully recovered!) While we were in the emergency room, him with an oxygen mask on, he looked terribly lethargic and not like himself. Out of the blue, he asked if he could watch one of your videos! I pulled out my phone and we watched the flower parts one. He smiled and laughed (albeit weakly). It was so good to see he still had his sense of humor and I was so grateful to you and your goofy jokes ("a pizza is a circle cut into a triangle that comes in a square!" - one of our all-time favorites!). We watched a few more before being moved to the ICU. I wanted to share that with you to express my gratitude and so you know what a positive impact you're making in our lives! Both of my children (the other is a son, age 5) have been fans of your channel for quite some time. Take care.
