Russia sentences US ballerina to 12 years in prison for treason

A Russian-American woman arrested earlier this year while visiting family in Russia, has now been sentenced to 12 years in prison for treason. Russian investigators brought the treason charge after discovering Ksenia Karelina made a $51 donation to a charity supporting Ukraine.

Measleading headline. She is a citizen of Russia, has Russian name, got Russian education, was born in Russia. Therefore, she really committed treason against her own country. The fact that she also obtained a US citizenship means nothing. In Russia, she is only citizen of Russia. It doesn't matter how many other citizenships she has.
