Dieses PilotsEYE.tv-Flugabenteuer führt mit einem A321-212 der Austrian Airlines über die gesamte Ost-West-Route der Alpen von Wien nach Barcelona. Airbus Chefpilot Hans Klikovich und seine Co-Pilotin Conny Ollinger fliegen die Passagiere der OS 397 - Dank Feiertag und „hilfsbereiter Fluglotsen - in einer besonders niedrigen Flughöhe (7000m) von Wien direkt über die Alpenkette: Grossglockner, Zugspitze, Matterhorn, Mont Blanc und dann entlang der Côte dAzur direkt nach Barcelona. Selbst ein Umweg über Italien wird von der Flugsicherung "aufgrund von sightseeing reasons" kurzfristig genehmigt. Ein Leckerbissen für Flug und Bergfreunde.

The lower then normal altitude view of the Alps from above 5 countries is just fantastic and breathtaking!
Just amazing ... to listen to the polite ..professional exchange between cockpit crew and the ATC controllers [from 5 different countries]

The captain of this flight is such a lively, interesting guy. He seems to have climbed to the top of every single one of the mountains they flew over! This was a very interesting video.

PilotsEye, make more videos guys, all of your videos are just fantastic. Would love to see more Boeing and smaller aircraft videos too, and maybe some longer videos i.e. 3-4hours with technical details for aspiring pilots :)

You are right! We have learned, that it is better to cover the whole conversation in the subtitles.
Therefore, we have switched to "full subtitles" since 2011, i.E. Los Angeles and Shanghai as well as all films in the future.

MelihAlex Das liegt daran, dass das eine recht alte A321 ist, da waren die GPWS sounds noch so "komisch" diese gefallen mir zwar besser, als die neuen, aber jedem das seine :) Mit der Airline hat das EGPWS allerdings nicht zu tun, nur mit dem Hersteller des jeweiligen Flugzeugs..
