Been here done that, trickster for budget assassin for dps and i still prefer shield charge to deliver the vortex since it is much faster and you only need to hit ennemy once anyway to kill pretty much anything

not sure if it'll be relevant to you, seeing as you want to push more difficult content, but I found that using shield charge was very effective for CoC vortex since one vortex was often enough (with a diamond for semi-reliable crit+ignite) to kill weaker packs.

Played this last league as Trickster, playing it again this league as Assassin for the free 6th link (no inc. crit strikes needed) and can almost one-shot hydra and minotaur. Chimera and phoenix are ignite immune which sucks so I don't bother with them on this character. Definitely could benefit from vaal pact but there's no room on the tree. Offense is way over the top and defense is lacking, but I don't care... might make this Elementalist version next league for reflect safety and that dank radius buff every 10 seconds.

I can't remember the last time mathil created a build that's actually not a variety of double dip poison/ignite. I also can't believe he actually gets praised for the potato builds he does.

He could use the worst skill in game, scale it with a double dipping mechanism and would actually do better than most 'non-meta' builds out there. And what's sad is that people can't figure a similar build on their own, thus eating up whatever shit mathil's dipping this week.

so i pretty much have the exact same gear, except an avg 5l es chest and no empower. 5.8k es, yet its taking me 3 or 4 hits to kill mobs, and by the time thats happened i am dead. Feels like without that chest and without empower the build doesn't really work, feedback?
