I feel like maybe, during the first galactic war, when the divers beat the illuminate they might have surrendered and embraced democracy, but a faction that rebeled against it might have split from the main civilisation to form a new Anti-democracy faction, or the other way around with the splinter cell embracing democracy and the main group being anti democracy

As we still haven't seen any illuminate yet days after said patch. I think we can assume or infer that we may be seeing a large scale event on Liberty Day, and this patch was intended to bring players back to the game, which clearly worked.

I remember first playing against the bugs and then whenever i switched to the automatons for the first time i struggled so hard to the difference of the two enemies.... I don't want to go through that again.

Imagine doing a mission VS illuminates and then there is a title saying "Illuminate Portal detected" and a damn portal spawns in front of you, spawning these high tech guys

I am genuinely sad I can’t play this game anymore, ever since I moved to Egypt I just couldn’t connect to other peoples ships, so only solo play works and inviting my friends did not work for them, it’s probably a region thing but either way I won’t play the game alone cus then where’s the fun in that?

I've seen the floating ones in game, they don't attack but definitely stand out with the blue
