Training Webinar: Collecting Sociodemographic Data During Vaccine Administration in Ontario

The Ministry of Health (MOH) is working with public health experts and partners to collect data on race, ethnic origin, income, language and household size for individuals who receive a vaccine for COVID-19 in a consistent and standardized way.

To support public health units and other health professionals in the collection of demographic data, Public Health Ontario (PHO) is working with the MOH to host a training webinar to explain why sociodemographic information is being collected and how to collect this information.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Describe the foundations of health equity and data collection
2. Outline data quality in relation to health equity and data collection
