KHUSHWANT SINGH died exactly a month before I came to know about him . It was in 2014 and I was in 11 th standard, we were assigned to prepare a review of the chapter PORTRAIT OF A LADY on pretext of holiday homework . I was just surfing through the pages collecting informations when I found that he was run out at 99 . Strangely, I felt very sad for him .

My all favourite books by an indian author is of amish tripathi.. whether it is the shiva trilogy or the ramayan series i loved all of them.. I was so addicted to the shiva trilogy that i finished the whole series of three books in just a week.. the excitement to know what's next in the story kept me going and i literally spent hours reading the books.. Jhumpa Lahiri is Indian for all intents and purposes. First page of her book talks about jhalmuri. I have a weird name like Gogol and here in Delhi everybody makes fun of it. Took me a long time, but now I am ok with it.😅
