Prachtige instructiefilm. Heb zelf problemen met zo'n pomp. Die zit aan een Peugeot 404 die 21 stil heeft gestaan. Hij heeft het 20 seconden gedaan, maar toen was er geen druk meer. Ik durf de pomp er niet af te halen omdat ik hem dan niet meer op tijd krijg. Dus zoek ik hulp.

Have a similar issue with a MF65 tractor with a Perkins A4.192 - 4 cylinder 3L diesel, won't pump to the injectors. Also one of the bolts snapped off in the end plate body, most annoying. I'll have to pull it down & rework it.

Hi, thanks for the clip! I did as you showed, I mounted the pump to the tractor (Ford 3610, year 1982), but the tractor does not move :(

If I put some carburetor spray in the air filter, the tractor starts and everything is fine, that is, the pump works, but to start, the tractor fails to start. What did I do wrong?

I have lost the spring positions. I understand that a code on the plate gives the positions. How do I find the positions.

Hello I need help for my DPA CAV pump ! My tractor is very hard to start, it seems that there is low pressure at startup. What do you think about this problem ? Which parts should I change to recover start pressure ? Thanks

Could you tell me the tension on the little plate with two bolts at 3:18?
I made a gasket years ago and it worked OK, now still leaking after two tries with same gasket paper.
Is the proper cork gasket part of the answer?

At 10.21 minutes to 10.27 minutes in the assemble, a ball, spring and piston are inserted beside the transfer pump. I don't have these items in my CAV injector pump, is this only required is some CAV pumps?

On the “auto timing” bolt you show a ball bearing going in it. I have a Ford 4000 cav pump and I did not see a ball bearing when I took the bolt out. It that required in all pumps?

Nice work. You have the hook the wrong way round on the metering valve. I did the same on mine, but found out when I was editing the video.

I got and old ford engine 3cyl with a lucas cav dpa pump, where i can get parts to rebuild the pump, change seals etc.. thanks!

Beste Jan, volgens mij heb ik dezelfde CAV pomp en ik heb het volgende probleem. Ik kan mijn motor niet meer stoppen omdat de stop niet meer functioneert, ook niet wanneer ik deze tot de eindaanslag op de brandstofpomp druk. Het toerental van de motor zakt dan wel. Tevens is het stationaire toerental van de motor van 800 rpm naar 1200-1300m rpm gegaan. Op het filmpje tijdens het samenbouwen zie ik hoe het werkt onder het deksel. Kan daar bij mij iets los geschoten zijn, of zit het dieper in de pomp?

Can you give a part number and supplier for the broken "pin" that advances the cam ring. I need to remove mine to clean the pump and it is so tight I am thinking it is going break off.

Hi there, great job on the channel! Have you disassembled any of these pumps with 4 pumping elements on the shaft of the main pump hydraulic head?
I have seen videos with 2 elements disassembled but none with 4.

I looking to know what way they go back together as there are 2 long ones and 2 short ones in mine.

I haven't seen any disassembly videos on the timing advance features of these pumps so far play there! Thanks for any info received!

What is issue when there is no fuel to the injectors?? Injector pump is primed, lots of fuel at bleeders.
