I worked through the entire 70's and received a raise every year, but in the 1980's a lot of companies stopped giving out raises. The fact that wages are growing now is because people weren't going to work the way we did, they will fight for their wages.

Don`t the CEOs make massive incomes? Wouldn't the best starting place be to reduce CEOs income to reduce inflation? Let's start at the top and let it trickle down. How about $10000 at the top to $1 at the bottom for a starting ratio.
