I'm rooting for Nathan Chen to get a medal in 2022 he deserves it such a great humble kid who is on the right track.

So mature for his age. I'm crying

So glad he had that redemption in the long program. He is such a great skater. He needed it personally as well

Great interview. Just can't imagine not acknowledging so many of the forces that put him there, but I guess it's hard in that moment not to be completely self-absorbed to the point of Wow. Anyway, nice performance. Good luck.

So proud of Nathan! I hope you and Vincent can skate until next Olympics. I understand Asian family put academic as top priority but it will not be late for you to go to ivy school at 21 or 22.

Why is Adam Rippon getting so much media coverage? He only got 10th. Nathan and Vincent got 5th and 6th. They both out-skated him

Nathan is really amazing! But I hope he will improve his artistry and lessen his quads to become a well rounded skater. As much as i love quads, injuries caused by quads are scary 😭

The two japanese??? You mean Shoma Uno and Yuzuru Hanyu. Jesus. Get your information straight. Know their names for god sakes.

He played with the big boys, got schooled and learned a few lessons...He realized there's more to skating than just Quads...For example, having a tripple axel, step sequences, choreography, presentation etc etc. The sport is called figure skating and not Fidget Spinners. Best of luck for the future!

Nathan & Mirai are raising the stakes for figure skaters. I’ve got a hunch that you’ll see more women doing 3As and quads and men going for a quintuple anything!

lol they... they should at least learn how to pronounce pyeongchang correctly

5 quads if it were the 90s would most definitely get him a gold but the standards had been set soooo high that it's not even worth a medal now.

This is why the US team sucks. 17th place after the SP is an embarrassment, and sending a US skater to the olympics who cannot performs quads (Rippon) is an even bigger embarrassment. For a country with our resources that dominated this sport all throughout the 1980s, 1990s and even part of the 2000s, this is just disgusting. US media, please keep treating these spoiled kids as superstars, despite accomplishing nothing  (the team event is a joke, and they know it), and unable to perform under pressure. I can't imagine the Japanese or the Russians throwing a party for their skaters who finished 5th and 10th respectively. After a performance like this, these athletes should have been sent home the following day on a 5:00 am flight back home, and not be putting their faces on every morning crappy show. I'm disgusted!
