i try your steps but i use bootstrap too and this doesn't work :( doesn't change the color

Why not defining the background: (
status-bar: ...
app-bar: ...,
background: ...,
hover: ...,
...
); and the foreground: ( base: ..., icon: ...,
icons: ...,
text: ..., ) ?

Thank you for this short and straight forward video on how to do this! The docs are not clear enough on material.angular.io and I spent all day trying to do this.
