this is a really interesting way of portraying thistleclaw's manipulation and eventual detereoration in spottedpaw's eyes. the way thistleclaw morphs and grows into this increasingly monstrous beast as she begins to understand his intentions and the true nature of the situation she's gotten herself into. not to mention, spottedpaw's round, soft shapes as compared to thistleclaw's harsh, jagged edges and unnatural movements are a great method of instantly conveying to the audience the stark differences between them.
