Improve CONNECTION with you audience with ONE simple technique: I enjoy your videos, but I feel it's worth communicating that I get turned off by the click bait titles of your videos. I actually can't think of a single video where I didn't get something valuable out of it. However, there are many videos that I have not watched simply because the titles imply to me that I'm going to get an over simplistic and inaccurate overview of a topic. I also feel like the titles over promise and therefore the videos under deliver. It's not that the videos lack value. It's just that the titles promise more than the video can fulfill. I feel like you underestimate (dramatically) the sophistication of your audience. The people who will enjoy the video that your titles promise will never enjoy the detailed videos that you actually make. So you attract people who don't want your content and push away people who do. Finally, I feel annoyed at times when you make sure to state your credentials at the beginning of every video. As I state earlier, your videos are nowhere near as simplistic as your titles imply. A viewer of your videos is unlikely to want to watch a single video of yours because it is clear, upon watching, that the topic is complicated and there is value in watching more. Your reputation will come with repeated viewing and it is unnecessary to justify your position of giving advice. The statement of credentials makes our relationship (of creator and regular viewer) awkward and uncomfortable.

I agree in the theory but the reason why I went to power based training is because the heart rate doesn't detect short bursts that can ruin a zone 2 ride and I can talk through even zone 4 power and HR of 150ish. A lot of people who aren't good climbers yell at me "NO TALKING ON HILLS", I can talk through just about anything save the hardest efforts so not really a useful tool.

Okay, here is a question regarding endurance ride for time crunched cyclists. We know the longer they are, the more effective. But what is the minimum duration for it to take effect?

If I can pull a 45 min endurance ride each morning, would that help? Or is it a case of more harm than good?

I always thought the talk test was for when you don't have a heart rate monitor and you want to find zone 2 lol. If you already have an hr monitor, just go off that to find zone 2.
