Scorpions - Blackout (Moscow Music Peace Festival 1989)

The Moscow Music Peace Festival took place on the 12th & 13th August 1989 in Moscow. It was organised to promote world peace and to establish a cooperation in fighting the war on drugs in Russia.
The event was held at a time of immense change in the Soviet Union and is said to have inspired the song “Wind Of Change”.

Matthias's energy back in the day was unbelievable, he made it look easy swinging and dancing while playing guitar!! I play a little guitar myself and trust me it ain't that easy, let alone playing it right. The man was amazing, of course Rudy is an animal on stage and still is today.

Scorpions, timeless music designed over decades. What an amazing band they have their own style sound and look. Great musicians great stage show they have it all. The sound of the drum kit the tone of the gibson guitars and vocals like no other.
