Terry Crews, who made a big splash as the host of the inaugural series "America's Got Talent: The Champions" earlier this year, joins as host for "America's Got Talent." With the show open to acts of all ages, "America's Got Talent" continues to celebrate the variety format like no other show on television. Year after year, "America's Got Talent" features a colorful array of singers, dancers, comedians, contortionists, impressionists, magicians, ventriloquists and hopeful stars, all vying to win America's hearts and a $1 million prize.

This guy is a genius. Learning a new song in an hour, after trying give the judges his best, and THEN coming back in front of a large crowd. That's not something that's learned. I'm not sure what Simon wanted, but I'm glad Lamont delivered!

For people who keep saying he’s not good he had to learn a new song in thirty minutes and...had to go out there in front of everyone and....had to perform. Also just singing like he did can take years of practice how I know this? I take singing lessons so for people throwing him under the bus lets at least give the man some credit😑

I don’t see how he has “such an attitude” like you’re all saying. He was just having some artistic integrity. Fucking Simon decides he can enact some stylistic censorship. Probably gets paid by the record company to push shitty pop songs instead of a classic that has come and gone.

Not his song. He's a soul singer and Simon never even saw that. You could hear the discomfort he had singing something he didn't know and love. The panels critique was way off.
