HOW TO INSTALL GB-001

I've got a lian li and previously wasn't too worried about GPU sag with a 5700xt but I opted to upgrade to the 7900xtx. Such a chunky board. Anyhow my motherboard -MSI MPG x570 is incompatible with this bracket. I bought two to support the GPU. One for installation according to the instructions and another for the side closest to the USB connectors. The heat sink for the M.2 interfered with the top standoff causing the standoff not to align with the support bar and the other one fit just perfectly until I put the support bar on. The bar prevented the new gpu from clicking into the PCIe slot. I was totally bummed out. It's a great idea that works with so many other MBs, great idea..great concept.. wish it worked for me.

just installed this on my Rog Strix 2080ti 11gb and its pretty solid and slick! I really like this solution. Only thing is the little L bracket was a bit long so It almost made contact with the fan. I had to trim it back with a grinder.

on my MB, there's a shroud that covers the chipset and the three m.2 bays so sadly this wont work for me :(

This came with my Lian-Li case. It was too tall for two different GPUs (EVGA 980ti and Gigabyte RX570)-- they could not go down into the pcie slot far enough that the clip locked. It was either the design of those cards or maybe my motherboard's slots are not tall enough? Who knows, anyway, YMMV.

Installed it on my Rog Strix Z390-E MoBo, very nice fit for RTX 2070 Windforce 3x!

LIAN LI if you're looking at the comments, could you please tell me if this will work on the ASUS PRO WS X570-ACE ATX? It is really difficult to understand/see exactly what MB's this will work on or not work on...would be useful if you create a database of compatibility on the product page of your website. thanks!

Genius use of middle motherboard screw points

Won't fit in my Asus TUF X570-Plus in the middle screws because of the PCH heat sink and NVMe slots. On the right-side screws, it stays on top of the SATA ports and also gets in the way of the motherboard cables. Lian Li should consider making a motherboard compatibility list for this. It came 'for free' with my Lancool case, but lots of people buy this item standalone and it just won't fit well, or not fit at all.

Not usable on Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Pro. Reason is due to top motherboard screw behind a shield for nvme, it might not work on most Z690 motherboards where thhey mostly contain shields as 99% of them come with 4-5 nvme

How does this actually prevent sag? It's the front of the card, the side facing the outside of your case that tends to sag. Think of it as trying to lift a dining table. Your PCIe slot is firmly holding one side, and now this bracket comes and holds the same side of the table while the other side is still dragging on the ground. It just doesn't make much sense.

Unfortunately it doesn't fit in my hero viii x570 and when I mount the bracket to the right side(sata) my card (sapphire 6800 xt) doesn't slot in properly 😔

This will NOT work if your case has a center standoff to guide your motherboard in instillation.

I just got this. Didn’t fit in the middle. So I just moved it to the right side of the motherboard. Fit just fine on MSI ACE!

Awesome idea, but how is the GPU on top supposed to suck air in through fans having the bottom GPU just below?😂

You can also install it to m-ATX motherboard equipped cases if only the case is suitable for ATX motherboards. I just did today without any problems. Note that again, my case is suitable for ATX motherboards and I'm currently using a m-ATX motherboard.

How about putting the bracket on the far right side of the motherboard? You know, for the longer, bigger rtx 30 series cards.
