Man it's crazy that only a couple people have gone to the depths of the ocean.

Imagine being the first people to try and measure it and the horror of finding out is not only way deeper than you thought, it's deeper by a whole lot more.

Breaking the record by only a couple hundred feet or 130 ft I should say. Still the pressure's at that depth are insane I'm sure

Imagine what gigantic beast is lurking in the depth of the ocean, I honestly get anxious just thinking about it, I live in a coastal city in Florida and have been going to the beach my whole life and I have always been fascinated with the creatures of the sea

35, 750 feet = 6.77 miles.
No Thank You, I'll Pass.
No sunlight at that depth.

Is it crazy to think and realize that life can exist pretty much anywhere?

The ocean is so big and so little has been explored

"With a dying thirst, to be the first.

You just imagine: the average height of a commerical airline is approx 35, 000 feet... so, when you're looking up at a plane and it's altitude; imagine being that far below water.

I’m pretty sure during Bebe and Barton’s journey a window cracked while at or near their final depth.

How the fuck did some dude find an ecosystem 1800ft down in 1850?

Is it true James Cameron got out at that depth and kissed a fish?

Imagine being back then and no one EVER has seen whats in the ocean. I would shit my self knowing an entire new life form co exists with me just under water. Crazy to think we have barely seen whats down there, even now.

It's sad that he didn't include the jaques Picard don Walsh dive which was deeper than the James Cameron dive.

So much respect for the adventurers of old. So intelligent with so little. A valiant effort by Mr Magellan
